Dying to find out what the gender of your little one is? You're not alone! Finding out the sex of your unborn baby is so exciting. Whether you're going to wait until birth or if you're just waiting until your anatomy scan, taking a guess at the gender can be fun!

Here are ten old wives' tales that many pregnant women find to be true. But, remember, this are just for fun, so don't get discouraged if the signs are pointing to the gender you're hoping for.

Cravings

According to traditional, salty and savory cravings such as potato chips, red meat and popcorn point to a boy. Whereas, sweet cravings such as ice cream, cookies and fruit tend to signal a girl is on her way.

High or Low

The position in which you're carrying could predict the gender of your baby. Women carrying high are thought to be pregnant with a girl and those carrying lower are thought to be having a boy.

Skin Condition

Is your skin glowing? That may be because you're having a boy. Old wives' tales claim that girls take their mommy's beauty; therefore, carrying a girl may cause acne and other skin problems.

Heartbeat

Did the doppler read a fast heartbeat over 150 beats per minute? If so, it could mean that you are having a girl. Legend says that a slower heartbeat (under 150 bpm) indicates a boy

Soft Hands

Silky soft hands during pregnancy may be caused by a little girl! On the other hand (no pun intended), dry hands could be a sign that a baby boy is on the way.

Odd or Even

Now this one may be a fetch, but legend says that if your age at conception and the year of conception are both even you can expect a girl.

23 Jan ’13I do agree with all of the ideas you’ve introduced in your post. They’re very coincnving and will certainly work. Still, the posts are very brief for beginners. May you please lengthen them a little from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.
